WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY RESERVATIONS?
We suggest as much notice as possible. However, we do offer short-notice reservations with a minimum notice time of two hours prior to pick up. As soon as your plans are fairly definite, you can book online, send us an e-mail or give us a call to set up your reservation. Special events and Full day Transfers may require more notice, so plan accordingly. In the event that advance notice is not possible, contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate as best we can!
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive, you will be greeted by your driver who will make contact via cellphone call or by having a sign with your name.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PARTY ARRIVES ON DIFFERENT FLIGHTS OR AT DIFFERENT TIMES?
If the guest request that the vehicle must wait for another flight or to wait for the arrival of other members of the party, we offers 15 minutes grace period after that a guest will be charged full price if the waiting time exceeds an additional 30 minutes.
The same applies to departures as well.
WILL I GET A COMPLIMENTARY STOP ON MY WAY FROM THE AIRPORT?
We provide one complimentary stop on arrivals. If it is required that the vehicle be on stand by for any time after the 15-minute grace period, then the guest will be charged full price if the waiting time once it exceeds an additional 20 minutes.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT TO MY BOOKINGS?
Any adjustments to bookings should be done 24 hours prior to the pick up time. Additional charges may be incurred.
WOULD I BE ABLE TO RESERVE A VEHICLE FOR A FEW HOURS OR ON STAND-BY?
Yes, stand-by or private on-call vehicles are available. Contact our office for pricing and availabilities.
WHEN DO I PAY?
Prepaid non-refundable deposits or full credit card payments are required based on the service booked. For short-notice reservations, cash or credit card payments are also received by the driver. Please confirm in advance if credit card payments are required on site. Payments received via this website will generate an automatic receipt. Reservations received via email or phone will have receipts sent via email. Drivers will issue a receipt for cash payments on site.
CAN I TIP MY DRIVER?
Yes, tips are accepted. A chauffeur’s gratuity is at the discretion of the passenger unless otherwise arranged.
DO YOU OFFER OFF-HOUR SERVICES?
Yes, we provide car service 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year. Advance notice is required for off-hour service and a surcharge of $100 will be added in addition to the vehicle price. Off-hour service is typically approximately 1:00 am – 5:00 am.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations submitted more than 48 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time are subject to a 20% administration fee. Any cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded. Cancellations of partially used reservations will be penalized and will be refunded 50% of the unused balance after transaction fees. Failure to contact us with flight cancellations or changes to flight information will be viewed as reservation abandonment. Reservations impacted by airline cancellations or delays may qualify for a full refund when a new reservation is made. See VIP Fast Track for the cancellation policy concerning this service.
Your VIP host will meet & greet you on the inside of the airport on your arrival date with a sign that has your group/ party name on it. Also on your departure, the VIP host will meet & greet you outside of the airport and will escort you through the airport. Fast Track clients need to check in (2) hours prior to departure time for clearing of US Customs and Border Patrol. Note that a hotel-to-airport ride takes an average of 25 to 45 mins depending on where you are located.
WHAT IS THE VIP FAST TRACK HOUR OF OPERATION?
Operating hours are daily from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Please contact us for availability and pricing for VIP service outside of operating hours.
Availability of VIP fast-track services is limited. All reservations for arrival and departure services must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
CAN I CANCEL A VIP FAST TRACK SERVICE?
To cancel service, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-(242) 558-3785 (mobile) /1-(242) 451-3753 (office). Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the service will be subject to a 50% refund. Any cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded. Cancellations of partially used reservations with more than 48 hours notice will be penalized and will be refunded 50% of the unused balance after transaction fees. Failure to contact us with flight cancellations or changes to flight information will be viewed as reservation abandonment.
WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FROM ME FOR MY VIP FAST TRACK SERVICE?
The customer is responsible for providing necessary information to coordinate and deliver the fast-track service. Missed service due to incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information or late arrival will not be eligible for a refund.
Customer is responsible for informing BDT Bahamas of any changes to the original itinerary. Failure to contact and cancel the service or make necessary changes to the itinerary will result in a full charge.
Passengers are responsible for meeting the appropriate passport, visa, and health requirements.
CAN I BOOK VIP FAST TRACK SERVICE FOR AN UNACCOMPANIED MINOR?
Customers must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by an adult.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITS OF HAVING VIP FAST TRACK SERVICE?
VIP Fast-Track service does not include continuous care, medical assistance or dispensing of medication, assistance with meals, or aid within a restroom. For customers with disability-related needs, please inform VIP Services in advance.
Passengers must comply with any direction or instruction by LPIA, NFS personnel, or other security personnel and all applicable security, customs, and immigration regulations imposed on passengers.
VIP Fast Track and its respective partners accept no liability for losses, delays, or disruptions incurred as a result of incorrect information supplied by the passenger or a third-party arranging service on behalf of the passenger or third party acts or omissions, including airlines, security, Customs, Immigration, baggage handlers or third party arranging service on behalf of the passenger.
The price does not include a baggage porter. Bags are subject to a service charge of $5 per bag.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection restricts fast-track service through the queue. The VIP concierge will meet guests at the end of the queue after U.S. Pre-Clearance.
WHAT IS YOUR LUGGAGE POLICY?
Our luggage policy closely follows that of the airlines. For each passenger, two checked bags (i.e. duffel bags, suitcases, etc) and two carry-on bags (i.e. diaper bags, laptop case, backpack or purse) all ride free. Excess baggage fees are assessed and charged at the discretion of the driver.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY LUGGAGE EXCEEDS THE VEHICLE’S CAPACITY?
If your luggage exceeds the allowed capacity of your vehicle, then a Luggage Wagon would be required. The Luggage Wagon is available for $100 – $300 each way depending on the size of the group.
ARE CHILD SAFETY SEATS AVAILABLE?
Yes. BDT Bahamas can provide child safety seats if necessary. We will not be responsible if seat sizes are not available. Our local laws require that a child be secured in a safety seat and as such will not be able to provide service to passengers without one.
CAN I BOOK TRANSPORTATION FOR AN UNACCOMPANIED MINOR?
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for service to be rendered.
CAN MY PET BE TRANSPORTED ALONG WITH ME?
BDT Bahamas takes great pleasure in offering a pet-friendly travel experience, ensuring that passengers can bring their beloved pets along on their journeys. Our company is more than happy to accommodate pets, but for their safety and comfort, we kindly recommend that all furry companions stay inside their travel cases or bags throughout the duration of the service. By following these guidelines, we aim to make every trip a pleasant and stress-free experience for both passenger and their cherished pets.
In addition, please be advised that a fee of $75 per trip will be applicable for passengers choosing to have their pets outside of their designated travel cases or bags. This fee is intended to cover the extra resources and attention required to ensure the safety and well-being of pets that are not secured in their travel luggage. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a pet-friendly environment while prioritizing the welfare of your furry companions during their journey with BDT Bahamas.
